Overview
Xsummer is an adult parody visual novel for players who enjoy cartoon-inspired stories with a lighthearted, nostalgic summer feel. The tone stays playful rather than dramatic, aimed at readers who like character-driven adult fiction over heavy plotting.
Story
Set during one formative summer, the story follows the protagonist through a coming-of-age season, seen from his point of view as familiar faces from the cartoon it parodies take on adult, grounded personalities.
Gameplay
Play unfolds through point-and-click navigation and dialogue choices typical of a dating-sim structure, as the protagonist moves between locations and people over the course of the summer. Choices shape which characters he grows closer to, with 2D character art and animated scenes marking key moments. Bugs fixed:
- Gallery (Android): Fixed issues where the gallery loaded the wrong scene, had no end point, or didn't show up at all.
- Text: Fixed missing text in certain parts of the game (thanks for informing me!).
- And in this patch I also took the chance to add a POV angle in the 69 scene with Linda. One of my supporters suggested this a while ago, and since I had already made it, I thought I might as well throw it into this bug-fix patch as a small bonus.
- It looks like the GIF preview shown above with some dilogues
