Symbiont is a 2D horror dating sim for players who like premises with a strange, unsettling angle. The tone stays intimate and quiet rather than loud or comedic.

Story

A therapist's office becomes the site of a quiet invasion. Dr. Aris Thorne is holding a session with his patient, Lena Petrova, unaware that the room already holds something else. That presence is the player: a symbiote whose purpose is to merge with both of them and, from the inside, reshape what draws them together.

Gameplay

Play centers on movement through the room's hidden spaces, searching for a way into each host rather than acting through open dialogue or choice menus. Progress depends on achieving contact and integration with both characters in turn. Once bonded, the symbiote's influence works on its hosts internally, shifting their responses toward each other over the course of the session.
