Overview
Parasite Slime is a sci-fi horror visual novel with RPG and sandbox elements for players who enjoy slow psychological corruption stories with a dark, unsettling tone. It plays cold and clinical rather than lighthearted, fitting its containment-breach premise.
Story
An escaped anomalous specimen, a parasitic slime, must infiltrate the mind of its human host, steering their choices and wearing down their sanity to eventually seize full control of their body. Success isn't guaranteed alone: the Foundation is hunting the specimen, and other forces with their own designs are closing in as well.
Gameplay
Play unfolds through branching dialogue choices and story chapters, with a skill tree that lets the slime evolve new abilities to manipulate its host more effectively. Progress depends on how well the player balances influence and suppression, since different levels of success in the assimilation process lead to different endings.
