Mergeware is a turn based RPG adventure for players who enjoy furry monster girl settings with a comedic edge. It keeps things light while leaning into transformation and fusion themes.

Story

Waking up in an unfamiliar world with no memory of who you were, you learn only that you used to be human and likely died getting here. Now inhabiting a body you don't recognize, you discover you've become one of the .Exe, digital menaces threatening this world, though a friendlier sort. Alongside new allies, you set out to push back against the .Exe threat while figuring out what you've become.

Gameplay

Combat runs on turn based encounters where you build a party and fight through the .Exe menace using your allies' abilities. The core system lets you fuse with party members, merging bodies to combine strengths and take on new forms, but first you have to talk, trick, or persuade characters into letting you take over. Exploration and dialogue choices feed into which allies you can recruit and fuse with as you piece together your situation.
