Story

Mikari leaves her home village for the city, determined to enroll in the Magical Academy. Without money or trained skills, she has to find work wherever she can, taking on strange and often degrading jobs across bars, churches, and theaters just to scrape together the tuition she needs.

Gameplay

Play centers on moving between city locations and picking up jobs, each one testing Mikari in a different setting and against different people. Money earned from these jobs feeds directly into the goal of affording the Academy, so players manage her time and choices job by job rather than following a fixed script.
