GameOver is a text-based sandbox for players who want a slow corruption story with a mystery hanging over it. The tone stays uneasy and dreamlike, mixing curiosity with a sense that something in this town isn't right.

Story

After wandering into a small town, the protagonist wakes up to strange rumors about his arrival and a road there that seems oddly blocked off. Getting close to the locals leads to blackouts and waking up back in his room, with no one else remembering what happened. He starts to wonder if these gaps are dreams, or something the town itself is doing to him.

Gameplay

Players move through the town day by day, choosing who to approach and how far to let each encounter go. Managing the protagonist's condition matters, since pushing too hard leaves him worn out and easier for others to take advantage of. Repeated visits and conversations slowly reveal more about the locals and nudge the corruption and mind-control threads forward.
