Cleavoyage

Cleavoyage is a 2D fantasy RPG for players who enjoy pirate-flavored adventure with a parody edge. It keeps things brisk and a little irreverent rather than grim or serious.

Story

After pirates sink the ship you were secretly riding on, you wash up stranded and desperate. In the wreckage you swallow the one item those same pirates were hunting for, and it changes you. To reach safety you have to fight your way back through the crew that wrecked your ship, all while sorting out what the thing you ate did to you and why it was worth chasing in the first place.

Gameplay

You move through the aftermath of the wreck as a male protagonist working through RPG-style encounters against pirate enemies. Combat and exploration are tied to uncovering the new abilities gained from what you ate, with progress framed around piecing together why the pirates wanted it. The 2D presentation keeps encounters and movement straightforward while the fantasy setting supplies the backdrop for the fights ahead.
