Barely Working

Barely Working is a 2D point-and-click adult management game for players who enjoy freeuse office comedy with a light, playful tone. It's built for anyone who wants short daily sessions rather than a long branching story.

Story

Candace is the office slut, and her only real job today is to finish a report before the day ends. Her coworkers don't see it that way, treating her desk as an open invitation, so she spends the day trying to keep her work on track while everyone around her has other plans for her time.

Gameplay

Each day plays out as a set of short, click-based tasks where Candace has to keep working while colleagues repeatedly interrupt her. As levels progress, her job changes from level to level, adding new tasks and new distractions to juggle alongside the constant attention from coworkers. Managing focus against interruptions is the core loop, with productivity and encounters pulling against each other throughout the shift.
