Apartment life is a short visual novel for players who want a quiet, voyeuristic family drama rather than a long branching story. The tone is somber and direct, focused on discovery rather than romance.

Story

A mother can no longer cover the rent on the apartment she shares with her son, and the landlord offers her another way to pay. The story follows the son as he slowly uncovers what his mother has been doing to keep their home.

Gameplay

Play moves through narrated scenes and dialogue as the protagonist pieces together the truth about his mother's arrangement with the landlord. Choices are minimal, framed around watching, reacting, and deciding how much he wants to see or say. The pacing stays close to a single ongoing situation rather than open exploration.
