Overview
Years Between Us is a dating sim visual novel for players who want a slow, message-driven relationship drama with a darker edge. The tone stays personal and tense rather than playful.
Story
Alex is trying to save his marriage to Julia as it quietly falls apart. Working through phone messages, calls, and her secret blog, with help from his friend Chad, he chases down what's really happening behind her silence. Each choice pushes the relationship toward rebuilding trust, opening it up to others, or watching it collapse into jealousy and betrayal.
Gameplay
Play unfolds through texting, calling, and reading intercepted blog entries, with dialogue choices that shift three tracked values: LOVE, NTS, and NTR. These values quietly gate which paths open later, from reconciliation to an open arrangement to a full slide into infidelity and voyeuristic discovery. Investigating leads with Chad adds a light mystery thread alongside the relationship decisions.
