Wings of Empire is a space opera visual novel for players who want political intrigue and military romance alongside their adult content. The tone leans dramatic and character-driven, with a wartime backdrop instead of a light comedic setting.

Story

Rome never fell, and its empire now spans the stars alongside two rival human powers, the Han Commonwealth and the Japanese Shogunate. After being wounded and forced out of the Legions, a former Centurion takes a new path as a fighter pilot aboard the carrier Aquila, just as the long cold war between empires starts to break down into open conflict.

Gameplay

Play unfolds between fixed story events and free time spent aboard ship, where the player builds relationships and explores their surroundings before returning to duty. Space combat and other minigames handle the military side of the story, with the option to skip them for players who prefer to focus on the narrative and character routes.
