Overview

WhoreMaster Crossgate is a management sim for players who want a long-term criminal-empire build with dark, explicit content and a strategic backbone. The tone is grounded and systems-focused rather than lighthearted.

Story

The setting is Crossgate, a city with its own established power structure. You start small, working the margins of the underworld, with the goal of building an operation that can eventually challenge whoever actually controls the city.

Gameplay

Play centers on running brothels and criminal ventures: recruiting and training girls, assigning them to establishments, and reinvesting profits to expand your reach. Strategy and simulation layers govern staffing, resources, and growth, while RPG-style stats and traits shape how each recruit performs and develops under your control.

Highlight: Game editor
The first usable piece of the next-generation Crossgate build is now taking shape: a desktop content editor for creating and editing packs.
You can open a pack, edit characters, adjust stats, traits, and items, drag in and tag images, create new traits and items, and move content between packs.
The important part: the editor only changes what you actually edit. It does not rewrite the whole file or “clean up” things it does not understand, which should make it much safer for older packs and hand-made content.
What’s new
This update also begins a larger rewrite of several core screens:
New City Map
Crossgate is getting bigger, with panning, zooming, more locations, and the foundation for district control and rival factions. Currently available only for full Patrons.
New Turn Summary
The old summary screen is being replaced with new layouts and more useful information for the game's future. Currently available only for full Patrons.
Arena Stable Portal
Pick your team and start competing in the league. This is experimental, not fully wired yet, and can be enabled in Settings. Available for everyone.
New Accounting View
Shows money moving through the game each turn. For now it is mainly useful for debugging, but it will grow into a proper accounting system with its own assistant role.
Gameplay and fixes
You can now use multiple saves in a playthrough with Save As...
