Story

After nuclear war stripped away most of humanity, both in numbers and in decency, a sheltered young man is pushed out of his settlement and into the ruined lands beyond. He sets out on a scavenging trip for old-world technology, but the wasteland is full of things that want to kill him, and worse, things that want to use him.

Gameplay

Play centers on exploring dangerous wasteland locations and settlements while managing encounters that can turn violent or sexual depending on choices and situations. Progress is built through recurring characters and local questlines, some of which let the player take on standing or influence within a settlement. Text-based scenes and static and animated art carry most of the story beats between exploration segments.
