Overview
Vivid Dead is a 2D side-scrolling action-adventure for players who enjoy grim urban horror with a monster girl twist. The tone stays tense and atmospheric rather than lighthearted.
Story
Kotone Inazuma, a graffiti artist and former thief, sets out through a city overrun by monstrous forces. Searching for a way to reverse whatever has taken hold of the place, she pushes into stage after stage, each hiding routes and threats that were not part of the city she knew.
Gameplay
Players guide Kotone across side-scrolling stages, fighting monster girls and other horrors while hunting for hidden paths that lead deeper into each area. Combat is close and physical, built around grabs, holds, and enemy-specific attack patterns, with exploration rewarding players who look past the obvious route.
