Velvet is a visual novel for players who want a slow-burn fantasy story told through a female protagonist's eyes. The tone is quiet and psychological rather than fast or playful.

Story

Lena is a sheltered young woman who takes a new job at an old, prestigious library. The routine work soon uncovers something stranger beneath the quiet shelves and lamplight—an unseen presence and a pull toward desires she doesn't understand. Nothing is forced; every step toward the woman she becomes is shaped by her own choices, the attention of those around her, and whispers from the library's past.

Gameplay

Play unfolds as a choice-driven visual novel, following Lena day by day as small decisions accumulate into larger change. Dialogue and internal monologue carry the pacing, with each choice nudging her further along a path she can't fully see yet. There's no combat or resource management—just observation, patience, and consequence.
