Overview

Transportal is an adult RPG for players who want identity-focused, submissive-leaning erotica wrapped in a fantasy setting. It plays with a lighter, curious tone even as it pushes into stranger territory.

Story

A college dropout stuck in a rut agrees to try a friend's beta-access VR game, on one condition: he has to play it in a girl's body. What starts as a temporary, harmless favor turns into something else once the game proves far more real than promised, pulling him through shifting Realities and bodies while his sense of self starts to slip.

Gameplay

You explore a series of changing Realities as a protagonist whose body and circumstances shift periodically, guiding both an adult-male and female-presenting version of the character through encounters shaped by submission and gradual transformation. Progress comes through exploring each new setting, talking to the people in it, and following where its sexual and identity-based choices lead, with the world responding differently depending on the body and situation you're currently in.

Features

  • A body-swapping structure that ties exploration directly to shifting identity
  • Feminization and corruption themes handled through a submissive point of view
  • Hand-drawn 2D art supporting key character scenes
  • A mix of sapphic and non-sapphic encounters woven into the same journey

Installation

1. Extract and run.

  • ANOTHER mini sapphic lewd scene with one existing character (or maybe two...?)

Art Additions:

  • The mayor's first lewd scene now has artwork!
  • Caroline's expression artwork has been heavily changed (she's super pretty now!)
  • Damien has received an entirely new outfit for Verusa!
  • Corey's artwork has been adjusted (his basic T-shirt is no more)
  • Some new expression artwork for our "IRL" protagonist~!
  • The artwork for the start of the tentacle scene has been polished some.
  • Mayor Mai now has two new facial expressions, which are retroactively-added to her dialogue!

Story Content:

  • A Story Recap can be accessed by loading an old save, OR by using the "Help Info" Key Item!

  • New dialogue with party members.
  • Multiple conversations with Damien ("Attraction to Men" only)
  • Finding a way to escape a certain location.

  • A new Non-Battle Skill, designed for acquiring items!
  • New places to use existing Non-Battle Skills!
  • At least eight new equippable items, three of which grant Skills!
  • A retroactively-added secret.
  • A group mini dungeon with enemies, and a bit of puzzle gameplay.
  • A solo mini dungeon with puzzles and enemies.
  • A new status effect (used by an enemy)!
  • A hidden sword.
  • More crafting!
  • Fictional breaking and entering! Don't do this IRL pls :3

Adjustments:

  • Items are now properly sorted in the menu based on their type and usefulness!
  • The Items menu now has two columns instead of one. The Q and W keys (L1 and R1) can be used to switch Categories.
  • The "Where To" menu used in "IRL" has been updated, and is now more intuitive to use.
  • Several "IRL Drink" items have adjusted descriptions, to make it clearer how they're useful.
  • Keyboard keybinds can now changed.
  • Gamepad button bindings can now be remapped.
  • The protagonist's Smartphone can now be used as a mirror even in Verusa (provided you've reached a certain point).
  • Water is now usable in battle, and removes the "On Fire" status effect.
  • Some dialogue in the first hangout at Jen's home (the one with Caroline) has been changed a bit.
  • The hint objects in the Lewd Tome are now visually distinct if that type of content is disabled.

Balance Changes:

  • The Enchanted Bell's "Lightning" Skill now has a one-turn cooldown upon using it.
  • The Crimson Ring's "Strengthen" Skill now has a limited amount of uses per battle.
  • Miscellaneous adjustments!

Visual Tweaks:

  • The game's UI has been visually updated in several small ways!
  • Caroline's sprites have been changed to match her new artwork.
  • Seth's "IRL" sprites are now wearing the correct clothing! (No more out-of-place suit jacket.)
  • My developer artwork (the art shown before the intro and at End of Content) has been updated.
  • A couple background images for in-game areas have been updated.
  • Some visual updates have been made to Verusa's Overworld map.
  • Custom animation edits have been made for several Skills (mainly Jen's).

Bugfixes:

  • A rare bug where party members would vanish before the "Robed Mages" fight has been patched.
  • The "Crossing the Lake" quest should no longer stay in the menu after it's completed. (This was a visual bug.)
  • Prevented the player from accessing part of the "Picking Up Damien" event early, which caused a black screen upon waking up "IRL", and potentially other issues down the line.
  • Patched a scenario where the player would get near-softlocked by the same Wynne cutscene trying to start multiple times.
  • Adjusted a switch which was flipped wrongly after the Mall group hangout event, which could have potentially caused a black screen upon waking up.
  • Fixed a bug where the player could not return to their room at the inn the next day after being sent to bed via a cutscene.
  • Prevented the player from getting a free night at the inn when being sent to bed is triggered by unrelated cutscenes.
  • Changed the visual for a cabinet in the Inn of the Four's first floor. Previously, the tiles were wrong, making it look cut off.
  • Applied a patch fix for a situation in which the "by the river" scene with Jen was unintentionally skipped.
  • Fixed a couple of small typos.
  • Fixed an issue where the Story Recap would fail to display, and some silly dialogue would repeatedly show up in its place.
