Overview

Totally Planned Landing is a customizable visual novel for players who like military sci-fi settings with adult themes. The tone leans character-driven, shaped by the choices you make along the way.

Story

A young woman enlists in the military and is shipped off to serve on a warship. What happens to her aboard depends on the personality and background the player builds for her, with choices shaping how crewmates and superiors treat her over time.

Gameplay

Players build a custom protagonist and guide her through life aboard the warship, making choices that affect her stats and how situations resolve. Attributes like Guts, Cool, Smarts, and Compliance track her personality and influence which paths open up, from resisting pressure to giving in to it. The result is a branching set of interactions rather than a fixed script, with the ship's crew reacting differently depending on who she becomes.

Almost every asset in the game got a makeover to make things look cleaner, and some were replaced outright
New portraits for background soldiers serving on the Vanguard, so the ship feels more alive even outside the main cast
I cleaned out code I wasn't using anymore and rewrote systems that needed a better foundation going forward.
