Story

A biological outbreak wipes out most of a coastal city in a single night, and outside forces seal the island off with no rescue and no answers. The protagonist is left to survive alongside his neighbor Alice, a blind woman with nowhere else to go, as the two are pushed together by necessity. Between scavenging runs into the ruined streets and uncovering what caused the outbreak, he has to decide what kind of partner he wants Alice to be as the city outside grows more lawless and predatory.

Gameplay

Players split their time between scavenging the abandoned city for food, equipment, and information, and managing the household routine back home with Alice. Exploration and resource runs feed into turn-based combat encounters against the threats roaming the streets, while sandbox-style days let you choose how to spend time and how to treat the people you meet. Choices around how you interact with Alice and others shape the corruption-driven relationship path the game follows.
