Overview

Thornfield Academy is a visual novel for players who want magical-school romance with a darker, transformative edge. The tone mixes shame, curiosity, and slow-building power.

Story

A young man arrives at a magical academy and finds himself bound to a strange ring that begins reshaping his body and his place in the school's hidden order. As he attends classes and gets drawn into the lives of the boys around him, he starts uncovering a quiet mystery tied to something called Restoration, one that forces him to decide how far he'll let the ring, and the people around him, change who he is.

Gameplay

Play unfolds as a text-based visual novel: attend classes, wander the academy, and choose how to respond to the people and situations you meet. Conversations and choices steer separate romance routes with other boys, while the ring's ongoing transformations affect your character's body and the options open to you. Character creation lets you shape who this student is before the story tests him.

Catboy race fix : Catboys were always showing up as Human everywhere in the game. Fixed — your cat ears are back.
Catboy ring denial fix : Choosing to deny the ring as a catboy incorrectly gave you the cock type selection screen
(human/equine/canine). Catboys always get barbed — that's not a choice, that's what you are. Fixed.
Mirror scene rewrite : The naked mirror scene was overwritten and cringe. Removed all the passages where the ring has
opinions about your body, admires its own work, or narrates your emotions for you. The mirror now describes what you
look like. That's it. Cock descriptions use the proper tag system. Ass description scales across 10 tiers. Body marks
show up if you have them.
Build types actually work now : Six of the eight body types you could pick at character creation (waif, slim, solid,
heavyset, tall & lean, compact) were silently defaulting to "average" in every scene that described your body. If you
picked heavyset and the mirror called you average, that's why. All eight builds now have proper descriptions at every
fitness level.
