Overview
The Veil Chronicles: Nix University is a 2D dating sim for players who want a fantasy harem story with turn-based combat mixed in. The tone leans into monster-girl romance with a darker, bdsm-tinged edge.
Story
The Veil is a distorted, monster-filled space that swallowed part of the world, leaving behind both ruin and a rare magical resource in the Veil Stones. John Koety enrolls at Nix University, a school built on the Veil's border to train Phantoms who can enter and navigate it, hoping to learn what happened to his older brother who vanished after studying there.
Gameplay
Players split their time between University life and turn-based battles against creatures drawn from the Veil. Conversations and choices shape bonds with the university's staff and students, several of whom can join the player's party for combat and further story scenes. Progress ties together exploration, fighting, and relationship-building rather than treating them as separate modes.
