Overview
The Successor is a 3D dating sim for players who like slow-burn corruption stories with a dark undertone. It plays out with a steady, secretive tone rather than a comedic one.
Story
The protagonist appears to have it all: money, women, and free time, yet everyone around him treats him with quiet contempt. He grew up unaware of his own family's past, and the story follows him as he moves to Ryudo, a city that hides prostitution, swinging, and orgies behind a normal facade, and starts piecing together why he and his relatives are so widely resented.
Gameplay
Play follows a visual-novel structure of dialogue choices and branching paths, with stat checks that can shift how scenes and relationships unfold, including at least one hidden bad ending. Progress moves between school-life scenes and the hidden adult side of Ryudo, where the protagonist's choices decide how deep he sinks into the city's culture of voyeurism, exhibitionism, and group encounters. Some scenes offer multiple routes through the same moment, letting players choose how far a scene goes.
