Overview
The King of Summer is a 3DCG visual novel for players who want a slow-burn NTR drama with a serious, uncomfortable edge rather than a lighthearted romp.
Story
Satoshi and Mary, a college couple, travel to a luxury resort at the invitation of Satoshi's uncle Kendo for a paid-for summer vacation. Kendo, a man who thought his womanizing days were over, finds his old appetites reawakened by Mary's presence, and what begins as a relaxing getaway turns into a spiral of seduction, betrayal, and forbidden desire that Satoshi is too distracted to see coming.
Gameplay
Play unfolds as a linear visual novel told through animated 3DCG scenes, following Satoshi and Mary's alternating perspectives as the resort trip progresses. Choices are limited and mostly shape tone rather than outcome, since the central betrayal is unavoidable; some optional dialogue paths lean further into netorase-style framing for players who want to steer how much Satoshi notices.
