Overview

The Journalist is a 3D adventure for players who like a slow-burn mystery mixed with adult drama. The tone stays grounded, following one woman's life in a new city rather than a wild fantasy setup.

Story

Michelle Williams leaves Newport, Rhode Island, for New York to build a career as a journalist. An interview assignment with lawyer Victoria Reed turns into something bigger when Victoria is accused of murder, and Michelle starts digging into the case on her own. Alongside the investigation, she settles into city life and forms new connections that start to matter as much as the story she's chasing.

Gameplay

Play follows Michelle through story-driven scenes as she balances journalism work with her personal life. Choices shape how she investigates the murder case and how her relationships with the people she meets develop over time. The pacing favors dialogue and decisions over action, with corruption and adult content woven into how those relationships progress.

What's new:
Michelle avoids serious danger and gains a new acquaintance, with whom her relationship has the potential to go beyond friendship;
unexpectedly, she grows closer to Alicia Gonzalez — the same detective who is on the Kaufman case and who previously denied Michelle an interview;
we finally understand who is behind the whole murder story;
Michelle is taking part in her first professional photo shoot, which, if you can convince our heroine, could take on a more revealing and bold character.
As for technical updates, a photo gallery has been added to the game menu, where new images, including selfies taken by Michelle and other characters, will be added as the story progresses.
Chapter 2
What's new:
Michelle's adventures continue over the next few days: she meets Victoria in prison, tries to gather information about the incident at the hotel, and eventually faces her first real danger.
There are three adult scenes, including two versions of a solo scene with Michelle, totaling four scenes.
The language of the text has been adjusted to reflect General American English. I hope this hasn't made it worse.
