The Hollow Throne is a 2D adult adventure for players who like corruption stories with a dominant male lead. The tone is dark and playful, mixing fantasy power fantasy with harem elements.

Story

Kaelreth, an evil mage, has just struck down his rival Archmage Vaelorn and claimed his castle, power, and body for himself. His conquest is interrupted when three of Vaelorn's former apprentices arrive at the castle, forcing him to decide how to deal with them. Rather than turn them away, Kaelreth chooses to guide them toward a "true" path of his own making.

Gameplay

Players take on the role of Kaelreth as he settles into his stolen castle and works to bring the three apprentices under his influence. Progress is built around daily lessons and events tied to each apprentice, with choices shaping how their corruption unfolds. Puzzle and turn-based combat elements break up the story scenes, while a day-based structure keeps track of where each character's arc stands.
