Overview
The Half Hero Harem is a 3D animated adult visual novel for players who want a fantasy harem story with a lighter, comedic tone. It plays out as a complete, self-contained adventure rather than an ongoing series.
Story
When strange portals tear through their apartment one quiet night, the protagonist and his childhood friend Red are pulled from their world into another, one populated by striking women and threatened by the vengeful god Zapaulo. Zapaulo intends to see the new world destroyed out of grief over his absent son, and the only way to stop him is to gather a team strong enough to face him down. Between saving this world and getting distracted by its inhabitants, the protagonist's choices decide which path gets more of his attention.
Gameplay
Players guide the protagonist through story chapters, choosing how much time to spend recruiting allies and building his group versus pursuing the women he meets along the way. Progress unfolds through dialogue and scripted scenes rendered in 3D, with animated sequences marking key relationship and story beats. The pacing leans toward narrative choice rather than open exploration, moving steadily toward the confrontation with Zapaulo.
