Overview

The Fog is a 3D adult visual novel for players who like survival tension mixed with moral compromise. The tone leans dark and uneasy, with moments of dry humor cutting through the dread.

Story

When a strange fog rolls over the country, an ordinary man just trying to get home ends up trapped in a supermarket with a group of strangers. As conditions inside worsen, the group's civility starts to crack, and he has to decide how far he's willing to go to survive alongside them.

Gameplay

Players guide the protagonist through dialogue-driven scenes and branching choices that shape how he treats the people trapped with him. Decisions carry forward, affecting later encounters and how far certain relationships go, from tension and distrust to romance or something more transactional. Animated scenes punctuate key story beats alongside the usual narrative pacing.

New songs
A few tweaks to the initial version: I balanced the sound levels for a better mix and touched up the menu music. I also fixed an inconsistency in a late-game choice and made some general polishing passes.
The appearance of the first two characters (Anna and the MC) has been improved based on your feedback. You can see the results on my Discord. In this current update, the MC's look has already been slightly enhanced, but Anna isn't present yet. The final versions will be visible in the next update.
Please note: to access the new update's content, you must choose to go home at the end of the previous update. Remember, during the game you'll sometimes have the choice to either go home or just get the hell out. These lead to independent chapters, each ending in a game over. Make sure to save right before. Don't worry, everything is clearly indicated in the game.
