Story

A century after the Lich King's uprising shattered the Romanzak royal family, the icy nation of Conussia still bears its scars. Playing a disgraced former soldier recruited into the Tsarina's Sparrows, you take a post as Constable in a remote village built atop the ruins of an ancient city, tasked with hunting the rogue mage Carpenter. The investigation pulls you into the affairs of the Outcasts, an order of undying wizards, and toward a masked mage who may know more about your own past than you do.

Gameplay

You explore frozen forests and humid jungles, fighting through turn-based combat encounters while gathering allies and gear needed to survive. Between expeditions, you manage the village itself, balancing its needs against the coming winter as you choose a male or female protagonist and shape relationships with the people and creatures you encounter. Progress branches toward multiple endings depending on the choices and alliances made along the way.
