Overview

Street Hero is a visual novel RPG for players who want delinquent-genre drama with dating sim elements and a harder edge. The tone is aggressive and adult, closer to gang manga than to a lighthearted school romance.

Story

The son of a powerful gang boss triggers a war between rival clans after sleeping with the daughter of his father's biggest enemy. To protect him and give his father an advantage, he's sent away to live with his uncle in a distant city, where he has to build a new life at a new high school while old dangers keep following him.

Gameplay

Play unfolds as a mix of visual novel storytelling and RPG structure, with turn-based combat standing in for the gang conflicts hinted at in the story. Outside of fights, you move through a sandbox city and school setting, managing encounters with a growing cast of women while decisions and standing with rivals shape how situations at school and in the streets play out.
