Star Periphery

Story

Most of Part 1 takes place in a rundown corner of space called the Periphery, styled after older B-movie sci-fi rather than sleek futurism. The game treats this setting as a starting point rather than the whole picture, with more of its universe meant to open up as the story continues.

Gameplay

Play moves between semi-linear storylines attached to specific locations and characters, so you choose where to go and who to spend time with rather than following one fixed path. Locations and characters carry their own fetishes, and a perk system tracks the protagonist's growing experience, both practical and sexual, shaping which scenes and outcomes become available. Five main characters can be romanced across separate storylines, alongside a wider cast of recurring and one-time side characters.
