SPY

SPY is a 2D action-adventure for players who want a darker spy-fantasy setting with monster-girl encounters woven into a side-scrolling combat loop. The tone is grim and tense rather than lighthearted.

Story

Emma Blackwind left her past as an agent of the Shadow Intelligence Agency behind to live quietly with her husband, Daniel. When she comes home to find their house torn apart and Daniel missing, a symbol left behind ties the attack to Black Iris, the terrorist group she once failed to bring down. A masked man contacts her demanding hidden files in exchange for Daniel's life, and Emma takes up arms again to track him down and get her husband back.

Gameplay

Players guide Emma through side-scrolling stages, fighting enemies with melee weapons and firearms while exploring a sandbox of locations tied to her search for Daniel. Combat mixes sword strikes and gunplay against human and monster foes, with animated 2D art depicting the encounters along the way. Progress through the story unlocks new areas and confrontations as Emma closes in on Black Iris.
