Overview

Spiritus Familiae is a 3D visual novel dating sim for players who want a dark, character-driven family drama with heavy adult themes. The tone leans somber and intense rather than light or comedic.

Story

Sierra Tenebris comes home at eighteen after five years away, expecting an awkward reunion and finding instead a family unraveling and a town built on secrets. As she settles back in, she starts uncovering the truth behind her own birth, a truth tied to something dark and dangerous running underneath the town itself.

Gameplay

Play centers on Sierra's relationships with the people around her, mostly her mother and sisters, through dialogue and story choices that shape how those bonds develop. Some love interests come with existing relationships that the player can choose to leave alone, join, or eventually break up, and choices steer Sierra toward different romantic and sexual paths as the story moves forward.

Notes

Rape and hard NTR are part of the background story and character histories but are not shown on screen or offered as choices. A few relationship arcs border on NTR territory through dialogue and existing pairings, but the game does not depict it directly.

The next version is out. Do note, this is still considered an alpha releases, so things may break, the world may implode, and Bob just might be your uncle. Saves should work (do for me on my two machines, a Win11 PC and a Steam Deck) but can't make guarantees as stuff has changed throughout the script file. A few scenes I have written didn't make this version for plot/pacing reasons, but there's still plenty of content both character, and intimate to be had. The music is still an ongoing thing, each main scene has music, but it's still very much a work in progress, as some of the tracks don't really fit in my view, so I'll be changing some things up for version 0.3.
As for what to expect? A whole lotta ass. There's still plenty of other intimate content, but anal is certainly on top in this update. You'll learn a good bit more about just what Sierra is, and the larger conspiracy settling over Angel Falls. Plenty of character drama and backstory rounds things out.
