Soul Merger is a 3D adventure for players who want horror, humor, and harem elements mixed together in a small-town mystery. The tone stays light even as things turn strange.

Story

After years of silence, a letter from the protagonist's absent father pulls him back to his hometown, only for the address in the letter to lead to an empty, oddly maintained house. With tuition paid and a room waiting, he settles into a new school year, but the calm doesn't last. Something is wrong in Dumbarton, and his classmates seem to be the only ones willing to help him find out what happened to his father.

Gameplay

Players move between school life and investigation, talking to classmates, making dialogue choices, and following leads that connect back to the town's hidden problem. Conversations shape which paths open up, including a route tied to one particular classmate, and exploration mixes everyday school scenes with odder, more unsettling encounters. Progress comes from piecing together clues while managing relationships with the people around the protagonist.
