Overview
Something To Write About Unbroken is a 3D dating sim for players who like grounded drama mixed with combat and romance. The tone stays serious, with real stakes behind the choices on offer.
Story
Valentine built his life around fighting, from street brawls to the military and now a career in professional MMA in London. A sudden tragedy leaves him the only connection a young woman has left to the world, pulling him back into a protective role he thought he had outgrown. Balancing the pressures of professional sports with the people now depending on him, his choices shape who he becomes and who gets hurt along the way.
Gameplay
Players guide Valentine through training, fights, and personal relationships, with dialogue choices that affect how he handles pressure and who he grows close to. Time is split between the demands of his fighting career and the people in his life, with decisions carrying consequences for everyone around him rather than just himself.

Changelog
v2026-02-13
- Book 1 Fix
- Book 2 Round 8
- 5594 Renders
- 20-30 animations, depending on how you define them.
- A lot of words, I stopped counting.
- A note I do want to make, because it was discussed in previous dev updates, but as of now I still don't have a soundtrack in this update, while I explored the options I just didn't find things that spoke to me enough, I thought it was important to note that because I have discussed it with people and I wanted to say something.
- Book 1
- This build is recommended for new players or those who want saves compatible with the Steam Version as well as Part 8. This build is on an entirely new executable and therefore won't see old saves from the previous versions. You can technically manually move saves between the versions but I can't guarantee compatibility on that. Starting over sucks, but it does guarantee the most smooth experience going forward.
- Old Version
- This build is the final update to the previous Part Seven builds, recommended for players who just want to prep up their Part 8 saves. This build is made with the old executable so all saves will be there. It will transfer to Part 8 just like previous build so both versions will work for that. A small warning, I had to upgrade my Renpy edition to make the new code function and in testing there were some errors. I did my best to iron out the main ones, but a few could have snuck through. If the transfer save screen pops up as normal then you're totally fine and ready for Part 8 if it spits an error that means a variable snuck out somewhere.
- Part 7
- 4200 stills
- 51 animation
- Part 6

- Part 3
- About 2100 renders
- Twelve animations
- Apx 45,000 words
- This version is story complete, but some additional QOL features like the gallery, and a few other little secrets are still being worked on. Aiming to get those added by the time the release is public
- Part 2
- About 1400 renders
- Seven animations
- Apx 30,000 words
- Added Opacity options for the textbox, while off by default if you're having difficulty reading the text the option is there to turn it up.
