Skantish

Story

Naomi Locke comes from a tribe exiled long ago, and she believes producing a warrior-heir could end that exile. Whether this is a genuine calling or something her heat has convinced her of is left open, and it shapes her push into hostile territory.

Gameplay

Players guide Naomi through side-scrolling levels, fighting enemies with a growing set of weapons, including whip and firearm variants, while picking up equipment and items along the way. Exploration extends underwater in places, and losing fights or falling into traps leads to distinct game-over outcomes rather than a simple retry screen. Boss encounters and varied enemy types punctuate the platforming and room-to-room progression.
