Story

In the country of Scarlet, an old law lets wealthy outsiders buy the contracts of any unmarried woman once she comes of age. The protagonist takes on the role of rescuer, working to purchase these contracts himself before the women can be sold off to someone else.

Gameplay

Play centers on managing money and relationships at the same time: earning or securing funds to buy out contracts while getting to know each woman well enough to move her arc forward. The game is structured as a sandbox, so progress comes from choosing who to focus on and when, rather than following one fixed path through the story.
