Story

A low-ranking Scarlet Crusade soldier stationed at Tyr's Hand ends up in possession of the Corrupted Ashbringer, stolen from Naxxramas, despite being nowhere near qualified for the job. What follows pulls him into the middle of the Crusade's fanatical crusade and its own worst enemy, with the fate of the order resting on someone who never asked for the responsibility.

Gameplay

You explore recognizable locations such as Tyr's Hand, Hearthglen, and the Monastery, dealing with factions like the Argent Dawn, Dalaran, the Amani, and the Forsaken as you go. Progress comes through talking to and building rapport with a wide cast of characters across the sandbox-style world, with a chapter select letting you jump to specific points instead of always starting from scratch.
