Overview

Routes of Life is a visual novel for players who want a mix of slice-of-life romance and darker corruption paths. The tone shifts with the choices made, staying light or turning heavier depending on the player.

Story

After years spent lost in an old favorite MMO, the protagonist returns to it during a summer break only to find it transformed by an update. A mysterious AI offers a way back into the game's world, giving him the chance to relive paths he never took the first time.

Gameplay

Players guide the protagonist through daily interactions with a cast of characters, choosing who to pursue and how far to take each relationship. Both f/m and m/m routes are available, and unwanted content can be skipped freely. Progress unfolds through slice-of-life scenes, side quests, and a phone system used to track status, money, energy, and messages from key characters.
