Overview
Rise of Corruption is a 3D adult adventure for players who want to play the villain rather than the hero. The tone is dark and deliberate, favoring slow manipulation over action.
Story
After the hero's party defeats the Dark Lord, word spreads that a piece of his power remains hidden, waiting for someone to claim it. Sent by the king to observe and assist the hero's quest to find that power, you have the opportunity to take it for yourself instead, using it to corrupt the people around you and, eventually, the world they live in.
Gameplay
Play centers on approaching characters connected to the hero's quest and steering them toward corruption over repeated encounters, with each stage unlocking new behavior and dialogue as their resistance breaks down. Combat exists as part of the wider adventure, but the core loop is about patience, leverage, and watching a character change rather than fighting through encounters. Mind control and coercion give you tools to push situations in your favor, and choices shape which characters fall and how far.
