Overview
Rental Cam is a 3D visual novel for players who want a slow-burn dating sim with an adult industry backdrop. The tone leans personal and character-driven rather than comedic.
Story
After losing his job, the protagonist reconnects with an old college friend who has transformed dramatically since they last met. She pitches him on entering an industry he knows nothing about, and he accepts, unsure how far this new path will change him or what he'll have to face along the way.
Gameplay
Played through text-based narration and dialogue choices, the game follows the protagonist as he navigates his new work and the relationships that come with it. Decisions shape how he responds to the people around him and how much he's willing to change as he settles into this unfamiliar role.

- This patch fixes two old scenes that haven't sat right with me for a while. The first one is the part where Bailey asks you about your penis size after the first video shoot. There’s a brief intimate scene there without giving the player a choice. I added an option to reject Bailey here. This change is quite minor and doesn’t really add anything new.
- Another thing: while doing yoga/stretching with Kimberlee, if your size is average or large, there was an unskippable sexual scene. I added an option to reject it for all sizes, an option to accept Kimberlee’s offer if you’re small, and—if you rejected it—three additional video options to watch while masturbating in your room. So now, regardless of the size you’ve selected, you can either accept or reject Kimberlee’s offer.
- I’ve been wanting to implement these changes for a while, and since the previous patch wrapped up a day, I wanted to get this out of the way. So I’ll reiterate: this patch doesn’t continue Friday morning or the story. It fixes the previous two scenes to better fit the game. It adds new content, but to a scene from the past.
- However, starting with the next update, the story and the day will continue to advance. I know that, given this recent slow pace, I’ve kept you waiting longer than I had planned and than you probably anticipated. But with the next few updates, I'm working to reduce or even completely eliminate this slowness. With v0.2, I put myself through a huge patch and had a period of burnout. But I’ve recovered considerably now, and I’m making a conscious effort to adjust the size and frequency of the updates much more thoughtfully. I hope that with future updates, I’ll be able to convey to you what I’m aiming for. Thank you for your patience!
