Overview
Randel Tales is an adult visual novel for players who want a lighthearted fantasy harem story with a large cast of women to pursue. The tone stays playful even as it leans into explicit content.
Story
In the land of Astylla, a war against the Demon King's Army has dragged on for centuries, and even after the Demon King's death fifteen years ago, the fighting hasn't stopped. An orphan raised by a merchant in the town of Randel comes of age, enrolls in the Academy, and joins the Adventurer's Guild to chase the life of an adventurer he's always wanted, only to find that the town's residents have plans of their own for him.
Gameplay
Play unfolds as an adventurer navigating town life in Randel, taking on quests, attending the Academy, and running into a wide range of women along the way, from elves and dwarves to guards and childhood friends. Choices shape how relationships develop and which encounters open up, with quest lines tied to specific characters and locations feeding into the town's larger story.

- Added another ending to the Elf Village quest to replace one of the Game Over screens. Now, failing to fully finish the Elf Village quest won't lead to a Game Over but will lead to Zenelith dying.

- Added a way to save Thea without needing to take her home.

- Changed the EXP-to-Level curve. Also increased EXP gains from hunting at low levels.
- Changed the story Sander tells after the quest with him and Eve.
- Changed some dialogue with Triss during her first quest so that it's clear that the potions she makes aren't for herself.
- Changed Sander's age.
- Fixed weird interactions with the Eye Orb and the Elf Village quest.
- Fixed some typos and grammar.
- Removed the need to buy Camping Gear. Now Uncle Pete simply leaves you some gear at the end of the game's intro.
- Removed notification for the different Gabrial endings.
