Story

Set in the Kanto region, the game follows a trainer's journey to become a Pokémon master, but that path is complicated by hidden factions maneuvering for control over the region and, ultimately, the world. Gameplay

Players choose a female or male protagonist and move through a sandbox version of Kanto, battling Pokémon in turn-based combat while pursuing the wider regional conflict. Outside of battles, the game focuses on corruption and mind-control encounters, with the player generally taking the dominant role in these scenes. Progress mixes route exploration, trainer battles, and story-driven encounters tied to the competing factions.
