Story

Hiding from a past life, you take a job with the wealthy Woods family under a false identity, planning to stay unnoticed. That plan falls apart once Max Woods starts paying attention. Sharp, unpredictable, and hard to read, Max becomes both a risk to your cover and someone you find yourself drawn to. As the summer unfolds, you have to protect your secret while getting closer to the truth about Max's own guarded history, knowing that any slip could unravel everything.

Gameplay

You move through the story primarily via text and dialogue choices, deciding how much to reveal, deflect, or push in each conversation with the Woods household. Choices shape how much trust you build with Max and how close you come to being found out, with the male and female protagonist perspectives offering different angles on the same events. The pacing favors reading and reacting over exploration, with tension building through what characters say and don't say.
