Overview
Over the Moon is a 3D adult visual novel for players who want a slower, character-driven family drama with a sci-fi backdrop. The tone leans emotional and awkward before it turns intimate.
Story
Two years after the events of A Moment of Bliss, memory-transfer technology and Virtual Augmented Reality Glasses have changed how people connect. Your daughter Moon is on the verge of music stardom, and her manager wants you to write songs for her upcoming television appearance on "Madds Medusa." The catch is that Moon resents you, and the job means spending an entire week living with her, forcing both of you to work through years of distance.
Gameplay
You move through a set week with Moon, taking part in scripted scenes and conversations that push her music career forward while slowly reshaping your relationship. Progress follows a linear, story-driven path rather than an open sandbox, with choices shaping tone and reactions rather than branching outcomes. The near-future setting occasionally surfaces through VARG-based interactions, giving some scenes a virtual, screen-within-a-screen quality.
Features
- 3D character animation used throughout key scenes
- A near-future setting with androids and VR glasses woven into everyday life
- Continues directly from an earlier story, giving returning players context for the family history
Installation
1. Extract and run.

Not only is this a beautiful start to the ending of The Rose Garden trilogy that I am extremely proud of, but it also introduces a new animation style. We'd love to hear the feedback from your experience with this, so please let us know what you think.
