Overview
Paper Hearts is a 3D visual novel for players who want emotionally charged drama with a slow-burn, adult edge. The tone leans intimate and heavy, favoring tension between characters over lighthearted fun.
Story
An accident deep in the woods cuts a group off from the outside world, leaving them isolated with nothing but each other and the feelings they can no longer avoid. Stripped of normal routines and distractions, the story follows how loyalty bends and desire surfaces when there's nowhere else to turn.
Gameplay
Players move through the visual novel by making choices that shape how relationships develop between the isolated group. Conversations and key decisions steer who grows close to whom, with the story branching based on which bonds are encouraged or left to fray. Progress is paced through chapters, each pushing the group's dynamic further from where it started.
