Our Red String is a 2D visual novel dating sim for players who like branching romance stories with a darker, morally mixed edge. The tone shifts between tender and unsettling, depending on the paths chosen.

Story

Lena and Ian are two people at similar breaking points in their lives, each dealing with disappointment in love and stalled ambitions. As their paths cross with each other and with the people around them, their choices pull them toward very different outcomes: devotion or betrayal, restraint or indulgence, success or ruin. The player decides how those threads twist together.

Gameplay

Play unfolds through point-and-click choices that shape Lena and Ian's relationships and personal arcs, with dialogue decisions steering each toward romance, rivalry, or compromise. Turn-based combat sequences and light mini-game moments break up the visual novel pacing, while the accumulating choices determine which characters grow closer, drift apart, or turn against one another.
