Story

Years after a drug-fueled criminal faction called the Red Empire seized control of Brazil, the assassination of its leader throws Rio de Janeiro into open conflict as rival factions scramble for power. Elza, an investigative police officer following in her father's footsteps, is pulled into the fallout when her childhood friend Alice — now a notorious trafficker — surrenders herself with a condition attached. The two former friends, now on opposite sides of the law, must work together to find out who really killed the man who once ruled the city, navigating a web of corruption where every alliance can turn into a betrayal.
