Story

Pulled into a fantasy world already fraying at the edges, the protagonist finds even his own home unsafe once demons attack him there. Forced to reconsider everything he thought he understood about this world, he sets out to grow stronger, wading into political intrigue and dangerous territory known as the Scar. Along the way he crosses paths with women bound to the world's hidden workings, each one holding a piece of the truth about what is happening and whether a way home even exists.

Gameplay

Play alternates between story scenes, turn-based combat against demons, and management sections where you handle resources and relationships between fights. Point-and-click navigation ties the pieces together as you move between political dealings, exploration, and the heroines tied to the plot. Strategy decisions affect how prepared you are for the fights ahead, while the sandbox structure lets you choose how much time to spend on each thread.
