Story

After a decade of solitary, work-focused living, a man takes a park ranger job in a small Colorado college town, only to have a phone call before his move upend everything. He becomes the guardian of his twelve-year-old granddaughter, whose difficult upbringing with an alcoholic mother has left her fragile. As he settles into Pleasant Peak and his new role, he finds the town sitting on a two-hundred-year-old mystery that threatens its future, one he must help uncover while trying to raise his granddaughter well and build a life among the town's locals and college community.

Gameplay

Play centers on daily life as a park ranger, balancing work with caring for a granddaughter whose emotional state shifts based on the player's choices. Conversations and decisions affect her wellbeing, which in turn opens or closes paths with the various women the protagonist meets through his job and the local college.
