Story

The secret book of the village has been stolen, and two of its ninja are sent to retrieve it: Saburo, a jujutsu practitioner, and Ayame, a kunoichi who is also his childhood friend and lover. Ayame is skilled enough that the mission seems routine at first, but the retrieval quickly turns into something neither of them expected.

Gameplay

Players move through eight stages split between two controllable characters, each with a distinct combat style. Ayame's stages emphasize long-range kunai attacks, while Saburo's stages build around a charged strike that hits in every direction. A full run takes roughly an hour on easy mode and closer to ninety minutes on normal, with the action structured around clearing each stage to push the retrieval mission forward.
