Story

A cadet's life falls apart after a chain of events leaves him stranded at the edge of civilized space. Cut off from the world he knew, he has to survive among pirates, smugglers, corrupt officials, and other people barely holding on, all while deciding whether he wants to find a way home, settle into this new frontier, or forge a path that belongs to no one but him.

Gameplay

Play moves between story-driven scenes and a more open sandbox structure, where you travel between stations, take on trade or combat opportunities, and choose who to spend time with. Turn-based combat and short minigames break up the exploration, and choices along the way shape which relationships develop and which ending the cadet reaches.
